Manly Pacific

This project is the rejuvenation of a three bedroom apartment in Manly, with sweeping views to the ocean and overlooking Queenscliff Beach. The upgrade carefully respects the original building while creating spaces that make the most of their surrounds. The new internal kitchen space has been oriented east to provide views through the kitchen to the ocean. There is a better connection between the living, dining and kitchen area, creating a relaxed living environment and better use of space. A central column and unused corner have been turned into a feature in the space tying all areas together.

Bedroom wardrobes were redesigned to include an additional study nook and storage. Working with exisiting plumbing restrictions the main bathroom has a unique design to meet the family’s needs of living right next to the beach. The parents ensuite offering a more tranquil retreat to relax. All finishes selected provide a sophisticated but relaxed palette for this lovely apartment by the sea.
