Dalkeith Street I

We transformed a modest Californian bungalow into a light filled home with all the space needed for a young family to thrive in. Looking beyond the obvious option of adding a second storey we added a linked extension to the original structure, with a new master bedroom with its own en suite and walk in wardrobe, an open plan kitchen and family living areas overlooking a pool designed to cool the western breezes approaching the house. We used sandstone from the original garage in the new build and then carried this through to create a centerpiece fireplace in the heart of this family home.
