Figtree  Nursing Home, Wollongong

The existing facility has 120 high care beds all on one level to make it comply with the current standards.

Design brief was to comply with 2008 requirements of 1.5 beds per room average together with required ablution facilities. Solution, DA approved scheme will provide a complete second storey over ground floor footprint to house a total of 149 beds. This will create a high quality facility that will service the Wollongong area.

Construction started June 2008.
